Top 10 Things I've Learned in Indiana so Far

1o. Small kitchens get dirty way faster than bigger ones (and it takes a lot more motivation to clean them if they're still not that cute when you're done, hence my blogging right now).

9. Noah looks Hot in business casual.
8. "LDS church headquarters may be in Utah, but the saints are in Indiana."
7. Hanging clothes on furniture and doors is not optimal for drying (our apartment only has electric hookups and our dryer is gas).
6. It bothers me when people say "we was. . ."
5. After the initial confusion of going to an Asian food store and noticing that 3/4 of the people in the store were Indian, it occurred to me that people from India are in fact Asian. Who knew?
4. Any amount of snow fall merits closing school for the day.
3. Contrary to popular belief, Utah drivers are not that bad and anyone who says so has not been to Indiana on a snowy day.
2. The economy looks a lot worse when you're in a town where 75% of the population works for one employer with impending layoffs.
1. Life is good.

  1. I agree with you on the small kitchen, however, I will add that they are a lot easier to mop. Ha, I was probably one of the bad Hoosier drivers today, I think I was driving about 10-20 mph on the snowy roads. In my defense, I was sliding all over the place, so I think it was reasonable. Can't wait to see you on Friday!!

  2. So I've heard your number 8 being said something like this, mormons are like manure, really beneficial and good when spread out. When it's all together in big quantities, it just stinks. Glad life is good!

  3. I agree with the snow part. When I was serving my mission, I was in Vincennes Indiana and Church was cancelled one Sunday because of the snow and there wasn't that much!! Hope all is going well with you!

I'm still waiting on your address so I can send you the DVD. Send me Adrea's too, okay? Also, Rob has something for you.
I have now really become a facebook person. I even added a picture (of the time Dad and I hung out with Barack Obama).
