A Monumental Day

Noah and I both walked at 8 months--so we are told--but after seeing Gabby and Alex and concourses of other babies NOT walk at 8 months, I just assumed it was parent folklore.

I'm now a believer for today, at just 8 months old, Oliver took his first step.
Oliver is apparently an equal parent opportunity baby because he waited until Noah came home for lunch to pull out his trick--didn't want his pop to miss it. What a swell kid.

  1. Kaila, I spent a couple of hours with Grandpa at Dialysis, and I showed him your blog. He and I read this remarkable news together, and several of your other blogposts. Of course, I don't think it's a big deal at all to have an 8-month-old walker. Been there, done that.

  2. He just wanted to get up off that nasty grass. Less skin touching it this way.
