Dear Gabby

Seven years ago today, I held you for the first time. Everyone told me the time would go by fast, but as a young mom who was up nights feeding you, I didn't believe it. Now it's been seven whole years and I am completely baffled at how quickly you've turned into a little lady.
You are an incredible girl and I am often amazed at how much you teach me. In seven years, you have taught me (along with your brothers and dad) how to love more than I ever imagined possible. You have an innate sense of right and wrong and what's fair and what isn't that continually keeps me in check. And you love to have fun. You're a good friend and an incredible sister.
You are a natural leader with a great ability to influence people. And you are kind.

Happy 7th birthday Gabrielle. Thank you for being my daughter and for making me a mom. I love you.

  5. Happy Birthday, Gabby!

She is such a sweet, beautiful girl. I think Henry is certainly in love with her. I think great kids are a testament to a great mom, which you are. Birthdays are kind of the mom's day too (I think), so give yourself a pat on the back for making such an awesome little girl. And she totally deserves a diamond necklace for her birthday. I can't wait to see the cake.

By the way - you should check out the blog - cakewrecks.com, its funny. Oh, and awkwardfamilyphotos.com Good times.

She really is beautiful, Kaila. I can't even believe how grown-up she is.
