Xinjiang

The place where Noah and I really started out our marriage (Xinjiang, China) is currently the grounds of some major rioting that has killed over140 people (the biggest riot to date in that province).
I hope our former students and friends are okay.

    We've been out of the loop, so I had heard nothing of this. Thanks.
    A fellow filmmaker, Kristen Olsen (she and her husband made the wonderful film _A Soldier's Peace_) friended me on facebook. I saw that YOU were our mutual friend. So she was in China with you!! Was her husband there also, or hadn't they married yet? I love them.

    What a weird connection! No, she wasn't married in China (Noah was the only man in our group).
