I remember more Halloween costumes than I remember Christmas gifts. Maybe that's why I tortured myself making another costume for Gabby--because I want her to love Halloween just as much as I did and do.
That said, I have finally finished Gabby's costume with 5 days to spare!
It took me one weekend of staying up until 2 AM so she better remember it forever and be a good teenager, otherwise I take back all the late nights.
Kaila its Beautiful! I can't wait to see how great Gabby will look in it! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a splendid creation! She will be stunning!! I agree with Gretchen. You are amazing.
ReplyDeletecan i have a mom like you! i want one just like it! i made Jacks costume this year to first time I'll post them after Halloween
ReplyDeleteSerioulsy Kaila, it's so beautiful!!! I can't wait to see it on her tomorrow night. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah to all you who don't live in IN!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I didn't think you would ever be able to top Anastasia, but it looks like you've done it again! And that satiny, slippery material is difficult to work with.
ReplyDeleteI'm UBER-impressed...then again, you seem to have that effect on me ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's seriously so gorgeous.
That is so gorgeous! It's Bell, right? I am so jealous! I seriously need to take a sewing class. I am sewing Jordan's costume this year, and it is my first ever attempt at sewing a costume, and without a pattern too. It is coming along...okish... hopefully if we ever have a girl I'll have more practice at sewing by the time she wants to be a princess!
ReplyDeleteJulene: you happen to live just a few doors down from THE best seamstress I know...your mother-in-law. Everything I know is because of her.
